Details: Measures 95" x 95" / Toronto 1990 / Cotton. Machine pieced and quilted.

Description: This nearly 7'9" square quilt contains original Valerie Page silk screened fabric from her years at the Ontario College of Art on McCaul St. in Toronto. The 'Birds in the Air' pattern has been re-imagined as a diffused arrangement of cubes that denotes a modern twist on an old classic. Ideally sized for a queen size bed, this large green and burgundy quilt was professionally quilted in 2008 by a colleague in a running scroll evocative of hand wrought iron.
